Get Involved
We are a nonpartisan group of humanitarian assistance, international development, and national security professionals, partners, and others, who have come together to create a structured, strategic way to collaborate and reduce duplicated efforts. We’re leading this movement to connect individuals eager to get involved with existing groups, making information sharing more effective. If you're already leading a larger group, let’s connect and explore how we can best leverage our collective strengths!
How you can help.
We're encouraged to see so many people eager to get involved!
The OneAID Community organizes its work through a number of state-specific Signal groups, in addition to providing announcements and updates via our Broadcast Channel.
Know before you volunteer.
It takes a lot of work to build a movement! This project is very dynamic and the work is fast moving. On average, volunteers commit 2-8 hours per week to the group through active participation in Signal discussion, information sharing and event participation.

We are carefully vetting volunteers based on the information provided through the form below in order to build trust across the state-specific groups and maintain consistent engagement.

If you do choose to submit a volunteer form, you will receive a Signal chat from another OneAID volunteer to verify your expression of interest to join our Community. Once verified, you will be invited to join the OneAID Community Broadcast Channel and your relevant State Signal Group.

We have chosen to use Signal as our main platform for communication to help protect everyone’s privacy as much as possible given the current situation. To take part, you’ll need to set up Signal. We really appreciate your understanding and support in keeping this a safe space!

We recognize that this is a big commitment. If it doesn't feel right for you, no worries! We still appreciate your support and invite you to stay involved by following along and engaging with us through our broadcast channels, where you can stay informed and share information.
